FUSED

A brief history of time...

Fused is an electronic music project that blends classic synthpop influences with modern electronic production. Drawing inspiration from pioneering acts such as Depeche Mode, Gary Numan and the wider tradition of European synthpop, the project explores themes of technology, futurism, and the relationship between humans and machines.

Originally formed in the late 1980s with a rebirth in 2018 with commercial releases, Fused has developed an extensive catalogue of singles, EPs and albums combining melodic synthpop songwriting with darker electronic textures and club-oriented remix interpretations. The project often presents releases through interconnected series of singles, remixes, instrumental editions and companion releases, creating an evolving catalogue that revisits and reinterprets key recordings over time.

Fused is also an award-winning artist, having received recognition from Radio Wigwam as 'Best Electro Artist'. The project’s releases have been noted for their blend of classic analogue-influenced synthpop with contemporary electronic production.

This is coupled with a very extensive resume of remix and production work for other artists which sets Fused apart as a very sought after remixer, noted for meticulous understanding of the electropop genre, it's history and implementation in his remix work.

Among the project’s most notable releases is the album The Silicon Queens, a highly well-received synthpop collection inspired by the early era of electronic pop. Combining retro-futurist themes with modern production techniques, the album explores ideas of artificial identity, machine culture and digital mythology while expanding the sonic palette of the Fused catalogue.

Continuing to release new material and expanded catalogue editions, Fused remains an ongoing electronic music project dedicated to modern synthpop while drawing inspiration from the genre’s classic foundations.
